Dr. Walker, Sr., or "Joby" to his friends and family, is Northeast Alabama's first full-time university-educated specialist in orthodontics. He served briefly in the Navy after graduating from Anniston High School (Class of '45). Pat Troup is Northeast Alabama's premiere orthodontic assistant, having joined Dr. Walker, Sr., in 1973. Primarily working in our Anniston office, you may find her at the patient chair, in the lab, or behind the front desk, always with a smile. When she is not helping the Walkers she is taking care of her husband, Larry, and their two sons, Jason and Jarrod, and Jason's wife, Samantha. Pat's newest hobby is being grandmother to Jason and Sam's baby girl, Brieland. Pat also enjoys relaxing at Lake Wedowee, gardening (pick your own blueberries and muscadines behind her house), and searching for shopping bargains. The Troups are members of Antioch Baptist Church.

| Beckie |
Beckie
Brooks formerly served as the Gadsden office receptionist
and has now moved to chairside assistant. Her earliest experience
with us, though, was as a patient, referred to us by her
husband, Jason, who was also a patient as a teen. Before
working for us Beckie worked at Rick's Pharmacy. The Brooks
have one son, Dylan, and are expecting a daughter in November.
They currently live in Southside, and are members of Faith
Worship Center in Glencoe. Beckie is a diehard Auburn football
fan, which sometimes creates conflicts with Dr. Jay.
